In rural schools many teachers and students struggle with lack of easy access to technology adversely affecting academic opportunities for students and keeping teachers from attending online professional development events.
We need to prepare students to be good digital citizens and train instructors to incorporate technology into teaching and learning. Providing rural students with computers expands their learning opportunities. For the Computer lab at Tandur school we require desktops, laptops, printer, projector, and screen – either new or used.

Students coming from remote villages and staying on campus have no means of contacting their parents/guardians in emergencies and normal times. Either they must borrow mobile phones from teachers or wait till the visiting days to meet their parents. We intend to install Telephone booths which will accept pre-paid calling cards.

We are looking for second-hand or sponsored sporting equipment for the school to run effective sports training. Once the children are engaged into enjoyable outdoor activities that will inculcate ecological understanding, an appreciation of clean nature and the opportunity to learn valuable life skills. The children love it, for many it is a highlight of their day, The equipment we are looking for includes soccer balls, volley balls, nets, cricket sets, board games (Chess & Carroms), badminton, field athletics equipment (javelins, discus, relay batons) and skipping ropes.
